Business Letter to My Congressmen

Dear Congressmen:

I'm a student from Evergreen Valley High School and I'm interested in visiting the White House. I wrote this letter because of post 9/11 security concerns; I must make a reservation via my representative to visit the White House at least 30 days in advance.

I hope that by visiting the White House I can understand more about this famous place, which my friends in Taiwan was asking about and asking if I been there before.

I would like to understand why this place is that famous and I think it's a shame that people from other countries went to see the White House but as being an American I never went there before.
